Regulation Saves Lives

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it now, and I’ll say it till I convince everyone in America:

Regulations save lives. We can debate overregulation till we’re blue in the face, but realize that slackening regulations simply means more people will die. Since people will always die, no matter how much regulations are in place, the goal of government is to walk the fine line between putting human lives ahead corporate profits and allowing people to succeed in business. It’s not glamorous, it’s not fun, but someone has to do it.
